Kamogelo Khatle is a junior counsel, with a corporate and public law practice.
She obtained her BA Law and LLB degrees from the University of Witwatersrand where she was a finalist in the Annual Wits Law Student Council Moot Competition in partnership with Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr (2016) and a recipient of the Attorneys (now Legal Practitioners) Fidelity Fund Bursary (2016-2017).
Prior to joining the Bar, she was admitted as an attorney and gained experience as such at Mkhabela Huntley Attorneys where she was part of the dispute resolution team involved in the Commission of Inquiry into State Capture in 2019. She later joined Tonkin Clacey Attorneys gaining invaluable experience in real estate and thereafter moved on to join Thulamela Chambers as an executive assistant to senior counsel and law researcher to junior counsel.
She was called to the Johannesburg Society of Advocates in December 2024.
Kamogelo is also a mentee in the Young AFSA Inaugural Mentorship Programme (2024/2025) and the Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr Inaugural Junior Advocates Mentorship Programme (2025).
Her preferred areas of practice include administrative law, arbitration, commercial law, competition law, insolvency and company law, matrimonial and family law.
