Simphiwe Sidu

Simphiwe’s area of practice are general public and commercial law, with a particular interest in constitutional and human rights law, administrative law, and general public regulatory law. Prior to being called to the Bar, Simphiwe worked across Southern Africa as a Legal Adviser for non-profit organisations. She also clerked at the Supreme Court of Appeal for all Justices of the Court. Before clerking at the SCA, Simphiwe worked at the South African Human Rights Commission as a Compliance Officer. Simphiwe holds an LLB from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and an LLM from the University of Notre Dame, USA.
