Thulamela Talks is an initiative that aims to share members’ experiences on wide-ranging litigation topics in which they have acted, including topics of interest and aspects relating to life at the Bar, on a monthly basis.
The purpose of Thulamela Talks is to stimulate knowledge sharing and debate among our members.
Our members have covered topics ranging from constitutional impact litigation; property and housing rights; cross-examination techniques; jurisdictional issues in tax matters; interpretation of contracts and good faith; the developments of AI and the impact on the legal field to the gendered expectations of women at the Bar.
Thulamela Talks looks forward to hosting a wide array of talks this year.
